This Orcish Captain card could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that focuses on quick creature damage and combat tricks. However, there are better cards available that provide more consistent and reliable effects for similar costs, such as Goblin Chainwhirler or Goblin Guide. Overall, Orcish Captain may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its reliance on coin flips for its effects.
