About Knight of the Pilgrim's Road

Knight of the Pilgrim's Road, Creature — human knight, designed by David Gaillet first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Origins.

Knight of the Pilgrim's Road would be a great addition to a White Weenie or Aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the focus is on quickly building a board presence and dealing damage early on. While it may not be the most powerful card available, its low mana cost and potential for growth through Renown make it a solid choice for aggressive strategies. However, there are stronger options like Student of Warfare or Elite Inquisitor that offer more immediate impact and scalability, so Knight of the Pilgrim's Road may not always be the best choice depending on the deck's overall strategy and card pool.

Rules

06/22/15

If a renown ability triggers, but the creature leaves the battlefield before that ability resolves, the creature doesn’t become renowned. Any ability that triggers “whenever a creature becomes renowned” won’t trigger.

06/22/15

Renown won’t trigger when a creature deals combat damage to a planeswalker or another creature. It also won’t trigger when a creature deals noncombat damage to a player.
