This card would benefit a control deck that focuses on drawing and maintaining a large hand size, as it provides a consistent source of life gain. However, there are better options available such as Nourishing Shoal which allows for a more immediate and impactful life gain based on the card's converted mana cost, making it a more efficient choice for decks looking to gain life quickly.
