The Inverter of Truth card can be beneficial for a deck that focuses on graveyard interaction and utilizes self-mill strategies in Magic: the Gathering. However, the risk of exiling the entire library can be a significant downside. Better alternatives for graveyard shuffling and recursion exist, such as Elixir of Immortality which allows for graveyard reshuffling without the drawback of card loss. Inverter of Truth may be too risky for competitive play but could potentially find a niche in casual or thematic decks.
