About Foresight
Foresight, Sorcery, designed by Terese Nielsen first released in Jun, 1996 in the set Alliances and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Foresight is particularly beneficial in control or combo decks that rely on specific key cards to execute their strategy, as it allows players to selectively exile cards from their library while also providing a delayed draw, enhancing card advantage. However, there are arguably better options, such as Ponder or Preordain, which not only allow for card selection but also immediate draw, fitting more seamlessly into decks that prioritize consistency. While Foresight can see play in niche builds or as a one-of for its unique effect, it may not be the optimal choice compared to more efficient card selection and draw spells available in blue.
