This Firefright Mage card would be beneficial in a red aggro deck looking to push through damage quickly by making key creatures unblockable. However, there are better options available such as Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear which provide consistent damage output without the need for discarding cards. While Firefright Mage has a niche ability, it may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations and better alternatives in the format.
