This card, Devastation, would be most beneficial in a red aggressive deck looking to close out the game quickly by clearing the board of all creatures and lands. However, it may not be the most optimal choice as it also destroys your own lands, potentially hindering your own game plan. Cards like Blasphemous Act or Hour of Devastation may be better options as they offer similar board wipes without affecting your own lands, making them more versatile and reliable choices for competitive play.
