A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting the opponent's creatures would benefit from using Deathgazer in Magic: the Gathering. While Deathgazer's ability to destroy nonblack creatures when blocking or being blocked is powerful, there are better cards like Shriekmaw or Ravenous Chupacabra that offer more versatility and immediate impact. Deathgazer could see play in specific metagames where nonblack creatures are prevalent, but in general, there are more efficient options available.
