This Armory Veteran card would be a great addition to an aggressive red deck that focuses on equipping creatures to make them more threatening. While it provides a powerful ability with menace when equipped, there may be better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more immediate impact without the life payment drawback. However, Armory Veteran could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on equipment synergies and aggressive strategies.
