Deranged Hermit, Creature — elf, designed by Kev Walker first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck focused on creature token generation and tribal synergies, particularly with Squirrel creatures, would benefit from including Deranged Hermit in Magic: the Gathering. While Deranged Hermit provides immediate value by creating four 1/1 Squirrel tokens and boosting their power, there may be better options like Craterhoof Behemoth for a more impactful finisher in token decks. However, Deranged Hermit can still be a solid inclusion in decks looking to overwhelm opponents with a swarm of creatures and tribal synergies.

The Squirrel tokens get the bonus, so they are effectively 2/2 creatures until the Hermit leaves the battlefield. And they get bigger if multiple Hermits are on the battlefield.
