A deck that focuses on both black and green mana would benefit from using Llanowar Wastes, especially in a midrange or control strategy where the life loss is manageable. While there may be better dual lands available, such as Overgrown Tomb or Blooming Marsh, Llanowar Wastes can still be a solid inclusion in decks that require both colors and don't mind the life loss. Its versatility and ability to provide both colors of mana make it a viable option in certain deck builds.
