Urias has received two nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards for the album Carranca. The artist is nominated for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album and Best Portuguese Language Song for “Águas de um Mar Azul”.

The Latin Recording Academy announced this year’s nominees on Wednesday morning (16). On social media, Urias celebrated the recognition and thanked everyone involved in creating the album.

“This album was built by many hands, ideas, encounters and talents. Thank you to every producer, songwriter, musician, artist and collaborator who was part of this work and helped turn “Carranca” into what it is.”

The singer also thanked the fans who supported the project. “Thank you as well to everyone who listened, shared it, came to the shows and embraced this album even before its release!” she wrote.

In the Best Portuguese Language Song category, “Águas de um Mar Azul” will compete against “Memória” by Rosalía and Carminho; “No Vento de Nós” by Criolo, Amaro Freitas and Dino D’Santiago; “Sua Onda” by Marisa Monte; and “Viver e Morrer de Amor na América Latina” by Johnny Hooker and Ney Matogrosso.

Carranca is nominated for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album alongside “Resistência! Ao Vivo no Circo Voador” by Black Pantera, “Let It Burn / Deixa Arder” by Chico Chico, “Rádio Love Nacional” by Detonautas Roque Clube, and “Foto em Grupo” by Foto em Grupo.

The 2026 Latin Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on November 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, United States.
