Paramount+ has released the full trailer for Season 2 of Marshals, the Yellowstone spin-off, and confirmed that the new season premieres on October 4.

The series follows Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, after he leaves the Yellowstone Ranch behind and joins an elite U.S. Marshals unit. Drawing on his experience as a cowboy and Navy SEAL, Kayce works alongside his fellow marshals to bring justice to Montana.

The story puts Kayce to the test as he struggles to balance family and duty while facing the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region's fight against violence. The series remains connected to the Yellowstone universe while following a new chapter in Kayce's life.

Logan Marshall-Green also stars in the series. The cast also includes Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, Mo Brings Plenty, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos and Tatanka Means.

The premiere episode was written by Spencer Hudnut and directed by Greg Yaitanes. The series returns to follow the work of the U.S. Marshals unit and the conflicts that arise when Kayce's professional life collides with his family ties.

Season 2 of Marshals premieres on October 4.
