Prime Video has released a Portuguese-dubbed teaser trailer for Criminal, a crime series based on the comics by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. Charlie Hunnam, Gus Halper, Luke Evans and Emilia Clarke star in the adaptation, which will be released in two parts.The first part, Coward, arrives on the streaming service on January 13. The second, Lawless, is scheduled for January 27, two weeks later. The announcement does not specify the year.The story follows two friends with very different relationships to crime. Leo Patterson, played by Hunnam, is trying to escape the world he grew up in. Ricky Lawless, played by Halper, wants to follow in the footsteps of his father, a legendary outlaw. The return of Ricky’s older brother Tracy, played by Evans, brings the family’s tragic history back to the fore.Others connected to the two friends are drawn into the conflict. Greta, played by Adria Arjona, is a car thief from Leo’s past. Mallory, played by Clarke, is Ricky’s girlfriend and fears what he might do to survive. Shootouts, robberies and a tragic romance are also part of the story.The cast also includes Richard Jenkins, Kadeem Hardison, John Hawkes and Logan Browning.
