Rowdy Research would benefit a deck focused on aggressive creature strategies, such as a red-green or red-white aggro deck, where multiple creatures are likely to attack each turn, reducing the cost of casting the spell. However, there are better cards like Ancestral Recall that provide a more powerful card draw effect for a lower cost and without the condition of creatures attacking. Rowdy Research may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its high cost and situational casting condition.
