About Kjeldoran Javelineer

Kjeldoran Javelineer, Creature — human soldier, designed by Dave Dorman first released in Jul, 2006 in the set Coldsnap.

This Kjeldoran Javelineer card could be beneficial in a white weenie or aggressive white deck that aims to control the board by removing threats efficiently. While its cumulative upkeep cost may be a drawback, its ability to deal damage to attacking or blocking creatures can be useful in combat situations. However, there are potentially better options like Banisher Priest or Fiend Hunter that offer similar removal effects without the upkeep cost, making them more reliable choices for competitive play.

Rules

10/01/08

Paying cumulative upkeep is always optional. If it’s not paid, the permanent with cumulative upkeep is sacrificed. Partial payments of the total cumulative upkeep cost can’t be made. For example, if a permanent with “cumulative upkeep ” has three age counters on it when its cumulative upkeep ability triggers, it gets another age counter and then its controller chooses to either pay or sacrifice the permanent.
