Juju Bubble, Artifact, designed by Donato Giancola first released in Feb, 1997 in the set Visions. It's a key card in 3 combos.
Juju Bubble could be useful in a deck focused on gaining incremental life advantage or in a deck that can benefit from sacrificing artifacts. However, its drawback of being sacrificed when a card is played may limit its effectiveness. Better alternatives like Aetherflux Reservoir or Batterskull offer more impactful life gain or utility, making Juju Bubble less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

It does not matter if the card is played from your hand or from somewhere else.
