Gift of Paradise, Enchantment — aura, designed by Ryan Pancoast first released in Apr, 2017 in the set Amonkhet and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.
A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, such as a green-based ramp deck or a multicolor deck that needs fixing, would benefit from Gift of Paradise. While Gift of Paradise provides a decent boost in life gain and mana production, there are potentially better options like Utopia Sprawl or Fertile Ground that can offer similar benefits more efficiently. However, Gift of Paradise could still see play in certain decks that value the life gain and color fixing it provides.

If the target land is an illegal target by the time Gift of Paradise tries to resolve, it doesn’t resolve. It won’t enter the battlefield, so its enters-the-battlefield ability won’t trigger.
