It's an interesting question. While Hobbits are often underestimated, their determination, resourcefulness, and keen ability to go unnoticed could have been valuable assets in a covert mission against Sauron. However, in terms of raw power and military might, it's unlikely that they would have been able to defeat Sauron alone. The Hobbits' best chance would have been to rely on their cunning and cleverness to outsmart the enemy, using their knowledge of the land and their quick thinking to devise a creative solution. Ultimately, though, it's probable that they would have needed the help of the other races to stand a chance against the Dark Lord.
