A deck that aims to win through a strategy of board control and disruption would benefit from using Worldslayer, as it provides a powerful win condition by wiping out all permanents other than itself when the equipped creature deals combat damage to a player. However, there are other cards like Blightsteel Colossus or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre that offer similar game-ending threats without the drawback of destroying your own permanents. While Worldslayer can be a devastating card in the right deck, its high mana cost and potential downside make it a risky choice and may not see widespread play in competitive settings.
