Talrand, Sky Summoner is a fantastic addition to a control deck that focuses on casting a high number of instant and sorcery spells, generating a steady stream of flying Drake tokens to control the board and pressure the opponent. While there are other powerful cards in the same mana cost range like Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Talrand's unique ability to create evasive threats makes him a strong contender in decks looking to win through incremental advantage and tempo plays. Overall, Talrand should definitely see play in decks that can take advantage of his ability to generate value from casting spells.
