This card would benefit a green-based aggro deck that focuses on casting multiple spells targeting creatures. While Staunch-Hearted Warrior can grow quickly with the Heroic ability, there are potentially better cards like Favored Hoplite or Fencing Ace that can benefit more from spell targeting effects in a similar deck. However, Staunch-Hearted Warrior could still see play in a deck that specifically aims to utilize its abilities effectively.
