This card would be beneficial in a tempo-based deck that focuses on casting a high number of noncreature spells to pump up Sky Theater Strix and deal damage quickly. While it can be a solid inclusion in such a deck, there are potentially better options like Delver of Secrets or Stormchaser Mage that offer more immediate impact and versatility. However, if the deck is looking for additional flying threats and synergies with noncreature spells, Sky Theater Strix could still see play in the right build.
