A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion or land-based strategies, such as a Golgari or Selesnya deck, would benefit from including Ramunap Excavator. While it is a powerful card for decks that rely on lands, there are better options like Crucible of Worlds which allows you to play any land from your graveyard, not just basic lands. Ramunap Excavator can still see play in more budget-friendly or casual decks where Crucible of Worlds may be out of reach.
