Polymorphist's Jest, Instant, designed by Craig J Spearing first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic 2015 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting the opponent's strategy would benefit from including Polymorphist's Jest. This card can be particularly effective against decks that rely heavily on creature abilities or have powerful creatures with abilities that need to be neutralized. While Polymorphist's Jest is a unique and situational card, there are other options like Cyclonic Rift that offer more versatile and powerful board control effects, making them better choices for competitive play. However, Polymorphist's Jest can still be a fun and unexpected inclusion in certain deck strategies for casual play.

If one of the Theros block Gods is affected by Polymorphist’s Jest, it will be a legendary 1/1 blue Frog enchantment creature with no abilities. If it stops being a creature, perhaps because your devotion to its color(s) decreased, it will be a legendary blue enchantment with no abilities. The way continuous effects work, the God’s type-changing ability is applied before the effect that removes that ability is applied.

Polymorphist’s Jest overwrites all previous effects that set the creatures’ base power and toughness to specific values. Any power- or toughness-setting effects that start to apply after Polymorphist’s Jest resolves will overwrite this effect.
