A deck focused on ramping and landfall triggers, such as a green ramp or landfall deck in Magic: The Gathering, would benefit from including Khalni Heart Expedition. While it can provide a consistent source of ramp, there are potentially better options like Sakura-Tribe Elder or Rampant Growth that offer immediate benefits without the need for quest counters. However, Khalni Heart Expedition can still be a solid inclusion in decks looking to consistently ramp and thin out their deck.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
