About Joraga Invocation

Joraga Invocation, Sorcery, designed by Kieran Yanner first released in Jul, 2015 in the set Magic Origins and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies, such as a green stompy deck or an elf tribal deck, would benefit from using Joraga Invocation to pump up all creatures and force opponents to block, potentially overwhelming them with a sudden burst of power. While Joraga Invocation is a solid card for such strategies, there are arguably better options like Overrun or Craterhoof Behemoth that provide similar effects on a larger scale, making them more impactful in the right circumstances. However, Joraga Invocation could still see play in more budget-friendly or creature-heavy decks looking for a solid combat trick.

Rules

06/22/15

If multiple attacking creatures must be blocked if able, the defending player must assign at least one blocker to each of them if possible. For example, if two such creatures were attacking and there were two potential blockers, they couldn’t both be assigned to block the same attacker.
