About Invincible Hymn

Invincible Hymn, Sorcery, designed by Matt Stewart first released in May, 2020 in the set Shards of Alara. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.

This card, Invincible Hymn, would be most beneficial in a deck that focuses on drawing and maintaining a large library size, such as a control or mill deck. However, due to its high mana cost and situational effect, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other win conditions like Approach of the Second Sun or Laboratory Maniac. It could see play in a casual or themed deck for fun and unique gameplay, but in competitive settings, there are likely better options available.

Rules

06/15/10

In a Two-Headed Giant game, Invincible Hymn will essentially set your team’s life total to the number of cards in your library. For example, suppose your team has 8 life and you have thirty cards in your library. Your life total (being the same as your team’s life total) changes from 8 life to 30 life, for a net gain of 22 life. Your team’s life total becomes 30 (22 + 8).

10/01/08

Invincible Hymn checks the number of cards in your library just once: when it resolves. It doesn’t continuously modify your life total as your library size changes.
