About Impetuous Sunchaser

Impetuous Sunchaser, Creature — human soldier, designed by Cynthia Sheppard first released in Feb, 2014 in the set Born of the Gods.

Impetuous Sunchaser would be a great fit in an aggressive red deck looking to apply early pressure with flying and haste abilities. However, there are better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more consistent damage output and value in aggressive strategies, making Impetuous Sunchaser less likely to see play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

Rules

02/01/14

Impetuous Sunchaser attacks only if it’s able to do so as the declare attackers step begins. If, at that time, it’s tapped or affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t attack, then it doesn’t attack. If there’s a cost associated with having it attack, you’re not forced to pay that cost. If that cost isn’t paid, Impetuous Sunchaser won’t attack.
