About Hagra Crocodile

Hagra Crocodile, Creature — crocodile, designed by Daren Bader first released in Oct, 2009 in the set Zendikar.

Hagra Crocodile would be beneficial in a landfall-themed deck in Magic: the Gathering, where its ability to grow in power whenever a land enters the battlefield can be maximized. While its inability to block may be a drawback, its potential for significant power boosts makes it a viable choice for aggressive strategies. However, there are potentially better options like Tarmogoyf or Scavenging Ooze that offer more versatility and impact, so Hagra Crocodile may not see widespread play in competitive decks.

Rules

10/01/09

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
