This card would benefit a white weenie or token-based deck that focuses on swarming the board with small creatures. While God-Favored General can generate additional creatures, there are more efficient token generators like Raise the Alarm or Spectral Procession that see more play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to their lower mana cost and immediate impact on the board. However, God-Favored General could still be a fun and flavorful inclusion in casual or themed decks.
