Fervor is a great addition to aggressive red decks in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides all your creatures with haste, allowing them to immediately impact the board when they enter the battlefield. While Fervor is a solid choice for decks looking to quickly apply pressure, a potentially better alternative could be Hammer of Purphoros, which not only grants haste but also provides the option to create 3/3 Golem tokens. Overall, Fervor can definitely see play in decks aiming for a fast and aggressive strategy, but depending on the specific deck archetype, other cards like Hammer of Purphoros may offer additional versatility and value.

If an attacking creature loses haste, perhaps because Fervor leaves the battlefield after attackers have been declared, it won’t be removed from combat.
