A control deck that focuses on removing creatures and disrupting the opponent's board state would benefit from using Extinguish All Hope. While it can be effective at wiping out nonenchantment creatures, there are other board wipe options like Damnation or Wrath of God that are more versatile and efficient in terms of mana cost and impact. Extinguish All Hope may see play in specific situations where enchantments are prevalent, but overall, there are better options available for most decks.
