A deck that can benefit from Crumbling Vestige is one that requires flexibility in mana fixing or ramping, such as a multicolor deck that needs access to various colors of mana early on. While Crumbling Vestige provides immediate color fixing, there are potentially better options like the Pillar of the Paruns land card which can tap for any color of mana without entering tapped, making it a more efficient choice for decks that rely heavily on multicolor spells.
