A deck that focuses on draining opponents' life totals and gaining an advantage through sacrificing life would benefit from including Bond of Agony. However, there are more efficient cards like Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire that offer a similar effect with potentially greater impact, making them better choices in most cases. Bond of Agony could see play in a deck looking for redundancy or a specific theme, but in general, there are stronger options available.
