A deck focused on aggressive black strategies, particularly those that aim to drain the opponent's life total quickly, would benefit from including Blistergrub. While it can be a solid addition to a Swampwalk-themed deck, there are more powerful options available like Vampire Nighthawk, which offers flying and lifelink in addition to deathtouch. Blistergrub could see play in certain niche decks, but its effectiveness may be limited compared to other options.
