About Ancestral Memories

Ancestral Memories, Sorcery, designed by William Donohoe first released in Oct, 1996 in the set Mirage and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A control or combo deck that relies on graveyard recursion would benefit from Ancestral Memories, as it allows for card selection and graveyard filling in one card. However, there are better options available, such as Fact or Fiction, which provides more card selection and flexibility for the same mana cost. Ancestral Memories may not see play in competitive decks due to its high mana cost and limited impact compared to other options.
