However, there are potentially better options available such as Vedalken Shackles, which can outright steal control of a creature, or Karn, the Great Creator, which can shut down opponent's artifacts entirely. Whether Vedalken Certarch should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, as well as the overall metagame.
