Golden Urn, Artifact, designed by Charles Urbach first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin.
This card, Golden Urn, would be most beneficial in a control or stall deck that aims to gain life and prolong the game. However, there are better options available such as Fountain of Renewal which provides consistent life gain without the need for charge counters. Golden Urn may not see much play in competitive decks due to its slow and conditional nature compared to more efficient life gain options.

As Golden Urn’s last ability resolves, its last existence on the battlefield is checked to determine how many charge counters were on it.
