A red aggressive or control deck would benefit from using Pyroclasm to clear the board of small creatures and gain tempo advantage. While Pyroclasm is a solid card for its mana cost, some decks may prefer Anger of the Gods for its exile effect or Sweltering Suns for cycling ability, depending on the meta. Pyroclasm should see play in certain metagames where small creature decks are prevalent, but its effectiveness may vary based on the overall strategy of the deck.
