A red aggro or burn deck would benefit from using Inferno as a finisher or board wipe to clear the way for a final attack. However, there are better cards like Earthquake or Rolling Earthquake that offer similar effects with more flexibility in terms of mana cost and damage distribution. Inferno could see play in certain metagames where the 6 damage to each player is particularly impactful, but overall it may not be a top choice for competitive play.
