About Cleansing Meditation

Cleansing Meditation, Sorcery, designed by Ron Spears first released in Feb, 2002 in the set Torment. It's a key card in 1 combos.

A deck focused on graveyard recursion or enchantment-heavy strategies, such as an Enchantment or Reanimator deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from using Cleansing Meditation. While Cleansing Meditation can be powerful with Threshold, it may be situational and slow compared to more efficient options like Austere Command or Merciless Eviction, which provide more flexibility and control. Whether Cleansing Meditation should see play depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, but it can be a fun and thematic inclusion for certain builds.

Rules

10/04/04

Auras returning to the battlefield are placed on any legal permanent of your choice. Doing this does not target the permanent. If there is no legal permanent for an Aura, it remains in the graveyard.
