Sanctum of Tranquil Light, Legendary enchantment — shrine, designed by Johannes Voss first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board and tapping down key threats would benefit from including Sanctum of Tranquil Light, especially in a Shrine-themed deck where it can become more cost-effective with multiple Shrines in play. While there may be more powerful options for tapping creatures in white, such as Banishing Light or Gideon of the Trials, Sanctum of Tranquil Light could still see play in a Shrine deck for its thematic synergy and potential cost reduction.

Shrines count only enchantments with the subtype Shrine. Other cards with “shrine” in their name (such as Jungle Shrine, Luxa River Shrine, and Nantuko Shrine) don’t count.
