Danielle Winits is a Brazilian actress born in Rio de Janeiro on December 5, 1973. Her television career includes roles in several Globo telenovelas, notably *O Clone*, *Páginas da Vida*, and *Amor à Vida*. Those parts placed her in stories with sharply different premises: a drama about human cloning, a family saga set in Rio, and a plot involving a disputed surrogacy arrangement.
In *O Clone* (2001–2002), written by Glória Perez, Winits played Alicinha. The series follows Jade and Lucas, whose romance unfolds alongside the consequences of a scientist cloning Lucas. Alicinha belongs to the story’s separate network of family and romantic conflicts. Her involvement with Escobar, played by Marcos Frota, disrupts his marriage to Clarice. Winits’s role was therefore part of the everyday fallout among the characters, rather than the scientific experiment that gave the telenovela its title.
Winits later played Sandra in *Páginas da Vida* (2006–2007), written by Manoel Carlos. The series centers on Nanda’s children and on the families drawn into their lives after her death. Sandra is one of its antagonistic characters. In *Amor à Vida* (2013–2014), written by Walcyr Carrasco, Winits took on a more central and contentious storyline as Amarilys. A dermatologist, Amarilys agrees to carry a child for Niko and Eron, a couple played by Thiago Fragoso and Marcello Antony. Her attachment to Eron and her claims concerning the baby turn the arrangement into a prolonged conflict. The role connected Winits to one of the telenovela’s principal family disputes.
Her film work includes the 2012 comedy *Até que a Sorte nos Separe*. She plays Jane opposite Leandro Hassum’s Tino. After the couple wins a lottery prize, they spend their fortune and must confront the loss of the lifestyle it financed. The film gave Winits a leading comic part built around the contrast between sudden wealth and financial collapse.
These credits show the range of specific characters for which Brazilian viewers know her: Alicinha, whose actions unsettle a marriage in *O Clone*; Sandra in Manoel Carlos’s *Páginas da Vida*; Amarilys, whose surrogacy storyline drives conflict in *Amor à Vida*; and Jane, facing the consequences of a squandered lottery win in *Até que a Sorte nos Separe*. Across television drama and film comedy, Winits has appeared in some of Brazil’s widely seen productions of the 2000s and 2010s.
