This card would benefit a mono-black control deck looking to fix its mana base and provide additional utility. While Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is a solid choice for such a deck, there are potentially better options like Cabal Coffers for ramp or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for mana generation in mono-black decks. Urborg’s second ability affects only the first strike ability, not the part of the double strike ability that acts like first strike.
