About Triumphant Reckoning

Triumphant Reckoning, Sorcery, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Nov, 2020 in the set Commander Legends and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

This card, Triumphant Reckoning, would greatly benefit a deck focused on artifacts, enchantments, and planeswalkers, particularly in a control or midrange strategy where you can fill your graveyard with these card types. While it can be a powerful late-game play, the high mana cost may make it difficult to include in competitive decks. Other cards like Open the Vaults or Replenish offer similar effects at lower costs, making them more efficient choices for most decks, but Triumphant Reckoning could still see play in casual or slower-paced formats for its unique and impactful ability.

Rules

11/10/20

If you return an Aura card to the battlefield this way, the Aura isn’t being cast, so you choose what it will enchant as is enters the battlefield. An Aura returned this way doesn’t target anything (so it could be attached to an opponent’s permanent with hexproof, for example), but the Aura’s enchant ability restricts what it can be attached to. If the Aura can’t legally be attached to anything, it remains in the graveyard.
