Sydri, Galvanic Genius would be a great addition to an artifact-heavy deck that focuses on controlling the board with versatile creature abilities. While Sydri's abilities are unique and can provide valuable utility, there are other cards like Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge that offer more impactful effects for a similar cost. However, Sydri can still see play in decks looking to surprise opponents with unexpected creature transformations and strategic lifelink/deathtouch interactions.

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.

If an Equipment attached to a creature becomes a creature, it becomes unattached. An Equipment that is also a creature can’t equip another creature.
