About Sutured Ghoul

Sutured Ghoul, Creature — zombie, designed by Carl Critchlow first released in May, 2002 in the set Judgment and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Sutured Ghoul, would benefit a deck that focuses on filling the graveyard with high-power and high-toughness creatures to maximize its potential. However, due to its high mana cost and the requirement of exiling creatures from the graveyard, it may not be the most efficient choice for competitive play. Other cards like Tarmogoyf or Death's Shadow might be better options for decks looking to utilize graveyard resources more effectively and consistently.

Rules

09/22/11

If any of the creature cards you exile has a characteristic-defining ability that defines its power and/or toughness, that ability will apply. For example, if Dungrove Elder is exiled this way, its power and toughness while it’s in exile are equal to the number of Forests you control, and Sutured Ghoul’s power and toughness will change as the number of Forests you control changes. If the characteristic-defining ability can’t be applied (for instance, it relies on a choice made as the card enters the battlefield), then use 0.

09/22/11

You can’t have Sutured Ghoul exile itself, even if it’s entering the battlefield from your graveyard.
