A deck that focuses on aggressive black strategies would benefit from including Stromgald Crusader, especially in a metagame with a lot of white-based removal or creatures. While it offers protection from white and can gain flying and a power boost for a low cost, there may be better options depending on the specific deck and strategy. Cards like Vampire Nighthawk or Gifted Aetherborn may provide more versatility and resilience in certain situations, but Stromgald Crusader could still see play in the right deck looking for a fast, evasive threat.
