Steadfast Sentry, Creature — human soldier, designed by Bram Sels first released in May, 2020 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Steadfast Sentry would be a great addition to a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a solid early-game threat with vigilance and a beneficial death trigger for additional board presence. While there may be better cards with more impactful abilities, Steadfast Sentry's versatility and synergy with +1/+1 counter strategies make it a viable choice for decks looking to maintain a strong board presence and apply early pressure.

If another creature is dealt lethal damage at the same time as Steadfast Sentry, Steadfast Sentry’s triggered ability can’t put a +1/+1 counter on the other creature in time to save it.
